Mediterranean, jazz & psychedelic music
This project came to life in the mind of maurizio brunod after his latest trip to new york and woodstock during which he met la crème de la crème of the ny music scene, especially few ultra-talented artists whom he immediately bonded humanly and artistically. The project arised from the necessity of the guitarist to explore and contaminate his distinct mediterranean melodic sound with the unique new york jazz sound, the most contaminated and experimental of the whole world. the band came together spontaneously and it is formed by both brilliant bass player brad jones and drummer marcello pellitteri including a phenomenal guest, the guitarist david gilmore. the manifold influences echoed in their music encounter and define the characteristics of an original and engaging concert, which highlights their exceptional skills as instrumentalists along with sharp artistic personalities, shifting between soul, groove, jazz and ethnic sonorities, all jazzed up by brunod wise use of psychedelic loops and effects.
